Standard procedure is to call or email me the night before the trip, usually around 8pm I will then be able to tell you with certainty the time we are going to meet and the exact launching spot. We can also square up any other questions you might have and I will remind you of the things you may need to bring.
The 28 ft WhiteWater can accommodate 4 people (plus myself and a mate) to fish comfortably. There are no exceptions to this rule. Rates are quoted are for the whole boat (not per person) so the cost can be split between 4 people.
All weather cancellations are at my discretion as the Captain. I will let you know as soon as the weather is looking bad enough for that day to cancel. Most cancellations will occur due to high winds or lightening in the area. We will not cancel due to light rain.
As a captain in Florida, my license covers up to 4 people fishing in my boat. You will not need to purchase a fishing license to fish with me.
It is up to you to prevent sea sickness the night or morning before the trip. My favorite remedy is Original Formula Dramamine – it is a 24 hour formula and I highly recommend purchasing Dramamine the night before the trip. If you do not take it at least one hour before being on the water, it will not work. Even if you are a person that usually doesn’t get seasick, every day is different on the ocean. I recommend everyone take Dramamine before you get on the boat, whether you are a pro boater or not.
I provide a large cooler filled with ice, complimentary water, and Nutrigrain bars. I have room in my cooler for a small packed lunch for each person, which you will need to make or purchase before the trip.
